each of the six centres. |

Working with Learning Trust in
Hackney primary schools as they
move towards Phase 1 children centre status.
Writing building specifications and advising on layout and design to maximise
the delivery of services. Leading
steering groups in the planning of integrated services for the centres. |

Working with Thurrock Council
to deliver Phase 1 children’s centres. This included advising on the design
of the buildings; obtaining approval from WS Atkins and the planning
authorities; acting as client’s representative with the construction team. |

to meet the targets set out in the 10 year childcare strategy. |

The creation and delivery of an early years capital strategy that grew
Hertfordshire funding from £1m to
£3.3m by using a range of funding streams. This created buildings to provide
integrated education and childcare in all Herts maintained nursery schools,
setting in place key facilities which have then allowed a number to develop
into children’s centres |
